19/10/2011

At this year’s international Busworld fair, for the first time, TATA HISPANO presents the majority of its extensive range of models, making this event an exclusive international showcase for the company.

As a novelty and a world first, the company presents a new version of Hybrid, the CNG-Electric hybrid urban bus, developed by Tata Motors. Along with this model, TH will also present the hybrid Diesel-Electric urban with Alexander Dennis chassis presented at last year’s FIAA fair in November last year in Madrid. Both will have the new area city body design, and they are clear examples of energy efficient options, providing advanced environmental management solutions for transport operators.

To complete the display, TATA HISPANO is exhibiting its coach range models: the NAYA deluxe coach bodied on VOLVO chassis, the Xerus on Mercedes chassis and the Intea Premium ( RHD) on MAN.

The new TATA HISPANO version in CNG-Electric hybrid technology represents an advance over the technology of the Diesel-Electric model presented last year at FIAA. It should be noted that, in November last year, EMT Madrid already confirmed an order to TATA HISPANO for 10 CNG-Electric hybrid units.
This new hybrid model means taking a step forward in the company’s product strategy in order to offer the best city mobility options with optimal ecological efficiency.

With this launch, TATA HISPANO heads the offer in hybrid technologies on offering three clearly differentiated options for urban transport operators: Diesel-Electric Tata Motors chassis, CNG-Electric Tata Motors chassis, both developed with the collaboration of SIEMENS, and Diesel-Electric Alexander Dennis chassis, developed with British Aerospace technology.
